compilations of memories from Bubba's friends

Lee Wicklund: I gotta say, thinking back on the whole time I knew him, I never saw him be anything but nice and happy. He was truly a nice guy. He will be missed. Godspeed my friend.

Roxana Chee: I can't believe it. We just saw you a year ago in our home last year. We were laughing because we found out we both went to school at PHS even tho we lived thousands of miles away. I still have your number in my wallet because we were going to call you once we got settled here in MS. I just got goose bumps. You were a nice, kind and patient man. R.I.P. Robert

David Donn: I never have been good at this. I sit here and think of all the good times I had with Bubba and the true friend he really is and still will be. I know that we will see each other again soon. Belinda know that I have been thinking of your family a lot and its pretty cool to see all the posts for you guys. Take care my friend and God be with you till we meet again

Kisha Bravin: I have no idea even what to say...
I will forever remember you being nice and kind to me when most of my world wasn't so nice and kind.
Looking at B's wall and seeing the outpouring of love and support for her and the funny memories of you make me know without a doubt the world lost a wonderful soul when it lost you.
I can't wait to see your smiling face again someday and hope you know how grateful that I am that you never treated me like all the rest!
Sleep peacefully my friend!

Paul Bebout: I just saw one of the FB updates Belinda posted, and I didn't even know you were gone, so I read the local news where you lived. Can't believe it! I was new to Page in '85 to do my senior year there, and even though we worked at Bashas' together, we didn't know each other very well. I've found so many people from Page... on FB I sent you a friend request a little while back . . . it was nice to find someone else from school years ago.I have no idea why these things happen--and I'm preparing to be a minister--but it sounds like your kids will be well taken care of by Belinda, and I'm sure that is comforting. I didn't even realize it, but we were born on the exact same day! What a trip! Thanks for your service during the first Gulf War. I was in the Air Force at the time but was never sent to Saudi, though what we did from afar in intel supported you guys over there. I'm very sorry and sad to hear that you are gone. RIP, buddy.

Kim Binder Holman: I just heard.....my heart is breaking for your family, for you Belinda, and for your children. We had great times in band, working at Bashas' together and in school. You were a joy to be around and your smile lit up the room. I have so many memories it is hard to pick one, but our getting in trouble at work with Tony V. and Dana Joy were some of the best. It was nice reconnecting with you a few years ago and hearing about your wonderful children. Rest in Peace....until we meet again.

Sophia Noriega Gorke: Bubbaloo, wow I just heard and my heart is breaking. I remember my first day in the 5th grade pod. There weren't enough desks, so I was put at the table in the back with you. You said "welcome" and gave me that mega-watt smile. I will never forget Christmas day our senior year ... you were there for me when I was at my lowest. Thanks so much!! The reunion will not be same without you! "Never Say Goodbye" Until we meet again in heaven . . . .

Randy Cliburn: I will miss you my friend. I know we haven't been in touch very often but I have fond memories of chasing girls in Kanab with you and Jody. You took that white Ranger to places in the desert I didn't know existed. My favorite memory is the one where you were picking on me for being messed up and told me I had bugs in my hair. I must have scratched for hours. Rest In Peace Brother!!

Joe McPhail: I remember the times we spent as kids.....Bubba, you and Belinda were my first friends I made moving to Page, AZ in October 31, 1975 living on Birch Street. I remember those baseball games in that vacant lot next to your house, all those forts and bike race tracks we built. With all those memories you won’t be forgotten my friend. Prayers are with you and your family.

Shawn Natonabah: Going to miss you Bubba. Last time we saw each other was in highschool. Even before that in little league, jr.high football, you were always cool to me. Always a nice guy.

Julie Wiese: Bubba, thank you for your friendship, my favorite picture of you, leaving for senior trip, your trucker hat, sunglasses and big bubba smile. Rest in peace, love and peace to your family.

Tony Sorensen: I will always remember Bubba's smile and the twinkle in his eye that accompanied it. I remember the old little league baseball days and how "serious business" those baseball games were to Bubba.
Your children and family are in our prayers. You will be missed!!

Wendy Mitchell: I just found out and my heart is broken. I'm so sorry, you were taken from this earth way too soon. We're all praying for your beautiful children and family to hold strong. I remember talking with you for hours after Deb passed away and sharing many tears, seeing to it that you stayed strong for yourself and your beautiful children. I was worried about you for a long time. Now it’s us who have to say goodbye to you. I'll miss you, but I have so many memories from HS that make me smile. Rest peacefully my friend. We love you.

Ralph Martyn: Bubba you will be missed. Remembering all the times we rode ATV's together when we were kids. RIP brother.

Maureen Kennelly Jones: I enjoyed our recent talks on FB and I looked forward to seeing you in June. It seems like we should be back on Birch street running around barefoot playing football in the front yard again....you always took that "touch" football a little too far!! ;) I love you buddy! RIP

Darci Supernaw-Panu: So many childhood memories are rushing back... you were always there when I needed you, so important in those days. You took me to my first PROM!! I won't forget you......R.I.P

Jennifer Bancroft Elton: This makes me really sad....I have some good memories of you driving me home from school as I thought maybe you felt sorry for me walking home by all myself. It always made me feel like you had a good heart to do that when I was a freshman and you were a senior. RIP Bubba...I will pray for your children.

Jaime Woods: Oh this makes me sick! I have such wonderful memories of our friendship, mister. You could make us angry, make us laugh, make us pull our hair out! But, in the end, we'd still love ya! (How did you finesse that one?) You were such a fun person to be around and you had such a wicked sense of humor - never afraid to dog ...yourself either! I will miss you - I will definitely miss you - I am cherishing the photo I have of you when you were in the Army - you were such a show off but that was just what made you such a fun friend!

Chris Chef: I just found out about Bubba. I can't imagine what you and your family have been going through. I still have fond memories of playing Little League with you and Bubba with your dad as our coach. I remember how I looked up to him at that age. He'll be missed by many. My prayers go out to you and his children.

Srechko Mokhesi Lucky: Belinda My Prayers are with you and your family, you are a strong woman hold on to that in this tough time, Bubba's work here is done and great work he did as you can see by the outpour of friends he touched. Bubba thanks for taking time to know me and the rides in the ford truck that always smelled good…rest easy my friend.

Chandler Buckley: Hey Bell. I can't imagine your pain, or anger... I thought long and hard about bubba last night and came to the conclusion that I don't have one bad memory of him.. The man was an icon even if it was with just the ladies... Bubba has touched so many Hearts that he will live on forever in all of us... and this morning was heavy with heart and tears However I think of Bubba and what ya know I'm smiling again.. Just remember NO ONE cold sport a ball cap like Bubba take off that hat and Perfect Hair.... Love you Belinda...........

Kerri Clarke Felix: We all try to think of words to say to make this situation easier..... I read all of the comments and see how thoughtful and caring everyone is. Page has raised some AMAZING people! We are all so lucky to have shared in the memories of those we have lost. We've all grown and gone in many different directions, but never forget those who have impacted our lives at one time or another! What FUN we all had..I am glad to have known Bubba and will always remember that goofy band uniform! I am truly sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words of all of your friends and all who love you so much. Take Care! Xoxo

Ann Marie D'Onofrio: Belinda, words cannot express the sadness I'm feeling right now. I have such fond memories of Bubba always coming over the junior high to visit me in Spanish class during his lunch. What a special guy who will definitely have a special place in Heaven. Hugs to you and your family.

Alisa Church Hahn: I can't believe it. He and Kevin were the first people I met when I moved to Page in 7th grade. I am so sorry.

Jan Gardner Bueler: Belinda- I am so sorry. Bubba loved to tease me in Geometry! He is a great guy and will be truly missed. Lots of love and prayers from all of us from Page!

Phil Burgess: I will always remember when Bubba went hauling ass into the Holiday Inn and ran his truck into a the ass end of a boat. We gave him so much shit for that. To this day, he is the only one i know who hit a boat out of the water.....lol. Good times.

Tasca Crane: The main thing I remember about Bubba was that he and Belinda both were very polite kids, we used to chuckle at them because they said "sir" "ma'am" Mr and Mrs. I think back now and think what a wonderful thing to have these days!!!! Manners! Be kind to everyone you meet and never forget the people who touched your li...ves, no matter how big or how small.
Belinda, all my love and thoughts and prayers are with you and Steph and Eric
